I am back....

I have taken a LONG hiatus from this blog and realized that I need to start it back up to keep family and friends updated on our lives. But, most importantly a documented reminder of what our lives were like raising our two precious daughters.

Let's recap since I last updated....

I got pregnant Jan 2010 with our sweet precious, Miss Tenley Elizabeth...we did not find out what we were having this time and she was a big surprise once she arrived.

I had a somewhat easy pregnancy, but towards the end battled high bp and also lack of movement on Miss T's part.

She was born, September 27 2010...we had a schedule induction and we arrived at the hospital at 10 for a noon induction. After a few hours of potocin the contractions started and once they broke my water I dialted very quickly. Thank goodness the doctor was already at the hospital delivering another patient, because it only took a few pushes and she was out.

Miss Tenley was an even 8 pounds and was perfect, she looked just like her baby sister when she was born but now looks like my side of the family (grandma Kremer to be exact).

Miss Tenley nursed like a champ and decided that's all she wanted, lol, so it was a long road with her through the year. She also was a horrible sleeper and couldn't tolerate many foods so I was on a strict diet to allow her comfort. Through all the trials, it was all worth it and we made it through :).

Miss Tenley started rolling over at 6 months and quickly turned around at 7 months and started crawling. She started to walk at 10 months and took off very quickly. She also beat her sister in the teeth department and got her first tooth around 5 months (Kennedi was 9 months if I recall). She now has 8 teeth at 13 months. She can say Bye, Bye, Jane, Mamma, Dadda, Daisy at 14 months :).

Miss Tenley is now a year old and she is running around and playing with Kennedi more and more. She is a gentle soul who LOVES to be held, hugged, kissed and cuddled. She is my affectionate one.

What has Kennedi been up to?

She is now 3 years old and is my little princess/diva. She has a princess dress on every night after Janes and all day on the weekends, lol. She loves dance class and she loves her make-up (uh oh)...She is very independent and knows what she wants, sometimes too much but she gets it honestly. Oh, should say she dances around the house ALL day and night haha an dloves to look at herself in the fireplace reflection :).

Kennedi memory lane...

Kennedi was fully potty trained at 2 years and had a little regression after Miss Tenley but at 2.5 months she was accident free. Once we figured out the princess dresses were the key and took them away she decided quickly to become a big girl and be potty trained.

Kennedi loves all things water and spent the summer going to Zoomie Zoomie (local waterpark at the zoo - Zoombezie Bay). She always went to princess camp and learned the Hello Song which she can still recite. She enjoyed the week with her friends, Leah and Abby. We also spent a lot of the summer inside due to the extreme heat and when it finally cooled down many nights at the park.

Kennedi loves her papa and grandma Judy and Grandma and GrandPA Kremer. She truly loves her grandparents and enjoys the time we spend with them. She is one spoiled girl by both and they laugh at her dancing around the house and singing.

Chris and I are doing well, just busy with the kids and spending time with family. Please keep Chris's family in your prayers as we go through the cancer journey with his Dad.

I will post pictures in the next post....
