Weekend with Grandpa & Grandma Kremer

I decided to go home with mom and dad this past weekend on Thursday after dad had his heart check-up in Columbus at Riverside. Chris was busy with a dinner and football on Thursday and Friday so it worked well and allowed me to visit with my family. For those that are curious, everything turned out well during my dad's heart check-up, thankfully. Of course, the weekend was filled with parties/get together and time spent with family.

Friday night Kennedi and I went with mom and dad to her 1st football game - Marion Local Flyers were playing Elida. Before the game we went to the Korner Kafe her 1st bar :) to have dinner prior to heading to the game. Since we were winning by a large margin prior to half time and it was raining we decided to leave. After the game we went to the Legion to have popcorn, drinks and the best pretzels with mayo/mustard dip (mine never turns out that good).

Saturday was the Annual Kremer Open:
This is an annual event that is put together by dad's side and all are invited to golf in the tourney. After the golf game we always have dinner, awards ceremony and party to spend time with our cousins/aunts/uncles etc. Chris came home to meet us since we have not spent time with the Kremer side since our Wedding. The party was at the Coldwater park where we had dinner, awards ceremony and a corn hole tourney. It was great to see the Kremer side again and we have all decided we may need name tags next year :).

Sunday my family celebrated Aidan and Clayton's Birthday - they share the same date 3 yrs apart. Aidan is turning 4 and Clayton is turning 7. Kristy and Matt once again threw a great party and made delicious food. They made what is called Shrimp Fest and boy that was wonderful and healthy for you too! Matt was the cook - great job Matt. Below are pictures from the party and the boys in their birthday gifts.

Below are pictures from the weekend!

Aidan enjoying himself at the Kremer Annual Opening at the Park :)! He likes dirt :).

Hanna smiling big for the camera at the party. We have a lil photographer on our hands, she took some great shots for me at the party.

Kennedi all smiles again at night when she should be sleeping :)!

Below is a picture I took of Kennedi at the football game!

Kennedi wakes up in the morning full of smiles, below are a few pictures I snapped to capture her smile. It's difficult when she only smiles for a second.

Kennedi's Baptism

We had Kennedi's Baptism on Sunday August 17th and the entire family came to Columbus to celebrate. The Baptism was held at St Joan of Arc Church in Powell and Kennedi did really well in church and during the ceremony. Kennedi didn't even cry when they poured the holy water on her head - she just starred at the deacon and wondered what he was doing. Her godparents are my sister Kristy and Chris's best friend, Aaron. I have added pictures we took that day.

Thanks to my entire family for making the trip to Columbus to celebrate Kennedi being baptized into the Catholic Faith.

Kennedi is 1 month Old

It's been awhile so I thought I would provide updates on how we are doing. Kennedi continues to grow like weeds and we got the confirmation at the doctor's on last week on Monday.

Kennedi went to the doctor for her 1 month check-up and here are her stats:
1) Weight - 10 pounds 4 oz - 75th-90th percentile
2) Height - 22 inches and 3/4 - 90th percentile
3) Head - 15 inches - 90th percentile

The doctor did want us to get ultrasounds of her hips to ensure she doesn't have hip displaysia (not sure how to spell it) because her 1st cousin Hanna had this. The ultrasound technician felt everything look good so we will wait to see what the doctor says.

She has been doing pretty good at night even though we still have our "rough" nights. I can't complain overall though if I can get 4 hr stretch I am happy. I am hoping one day that 4 hr stretch grows to 5, 6 etc :). She is a night owl still and likes to go to bed around 11 or 12 which is fine with me if she can sleep for four hrs. She usually eats non-stop it seems from 8 until bedtime, I call it filling her tank :).

I thought I would post some recent pictures of our Chunky Monkey (well she is not too chunky yet but love the nickname).

Kennedi's First Photo Shoot

Kennedi is 1 month old on Monday and I can't believe how much she has grown in the last few weeks. Below are some pictures from our Sears Photo Shoot when she was only 2 weeks old. I thought she would be sleeping for this newborn session and she decided to stay awake for the entire session :).
Enjoy!
