Kennedi is 3 weeks old tomorrow!

I have taken a lot of pictures of Kennedi the last 3 weeks and have posted some of the pictures below. She is growing so fast - she is already ~10 pounds.
She is doing well at night usually giving mommy 10:30-3:30 to sleep and then she goes back down from 4:00-5:30 and up again at 7:00 am.

Mommy and Grandpa Kremer - 3 generations of the same noses :).

I found my thumb!

Cousin Aidan loves Kennedi

Bath Time - she loves baths. Maybe she will be like mommy and love the water unlike Daddy.

Weekend in Hocking Hills

Kennedi went on her first vacation with Grandma and Grandpa Kremer, her aunts and uncles and cousins. We went to Hocking Hills for a weekend get away with the family (a gift to Mom and Dad for x mas) and stayed at Cedar Hill Lodge. It was a very nice lodge with 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and pull out couches for the kids and what's a cabin in hocking hills without the hot tub. We spent the time around the camp fire, in the hot tub, hiking and playing bean bags (corn hole for those from the city).

Here are some photos from the trip:

The men again in the hot tub - all the cousins had a good time in there.

The buckeyes are God :)!

Below are some pictures from Ash Cave - really beautiful and easy hike in Hocking Hills.

Kennedi's Doctors appointment

Kennedi had her 1st doctors appointment yesterday to check her jaundice and we snapped this picture of our cutie. The outfit cracks me up! (got to love garage sales)

Kennedi Sue Homan has arrived!

10 cm - ready to push. I had to wait to push for over an hr though because they needed to get the green light from the doctor since she was at the office with patients. So, I sat straight up and labored "down" bascially let my body naturally bring the baby down with each contraction.

The last bump picture, this is right as we were heading out the door. Yes, I look happy but that's because I was in between a contraction.

Why are all of you taking pictures of me?

The Bundle of Joy has arrived!!
She has a name, the much anticipated since we got lots of emails, texts and calls if we had a name yet! Kennedi Sue Homan made her entrance into the world 2 days after her due date on July 11th (yes 7-11) at 4:37 pm weighing in at 8 pounds 2 ounces and 21 inches long. I was shocked when I saw how big she was, lol, didn't think I would be having a large baby. I keep asking myself, where did she hide.

She is absolutely gorgeous and mom and dad are already in love with this little one. She has a head full of hair which is no surprise to mommy and daddy since we both have thick head full of hair. She is a very good baby so far and we couldn't be happier. I think she knows daddy needed a good little girl to get adjusted to this parent thing. Breastfeeding is going well and the little chunker likes to eat. We had a doctor's appt yesterday to check her jaundice and she is already at her birth weight after being 7 pounds 12 ounces when dismissed from the hospital. So, I know she is getting food :).

Here are some of the photos we have taken, but we can't wait to share her with all our friends and family.

Our Fur Babies

Officially 39 weeks and 1 day...since I have no baby news updates I thought I would share with everyone our fur babies.

Daisy and Buster are little Maltese poodle mixes that we got almost 3 years ago. Buster is our small black dog, a HUGE 5 pounds who is full of spunk but it also our laziest dog who fits the true definition of a lap dog. Daisy is our white gentle giant at 11 pounds who loves to cuddle and be loved. She is not an ordinary dog, I have never met another dog who loves to cuddle, give hugs and act like a baby.

It's going to be an adjustment for them when the bundle of joy arrives since they have been our "babies". We are just going to take it 1 day at a time and hope in time they all will love each other.

Our Home Sweet Home

For those that have not been to visit us in Powell at our new house I wanted to post some pictures of our home. It's a 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath home in a small subdivision in Golf Village in Powell. We truly feel blessed with this home and we have enjoyed decorating and making the home ours. Thanks to both our parents for all the help they have given us on our "house" projects. Enjoy!

38 weeks and 6 days

Well we are getting closer to our EDD of July 9th. I have not made any progress in dilation department since week 36, 2 cm dilated. Chris still bets the day will be July 7th, our one yr wedding anniversary. We are both preparing and getting our sleep now before she arrives :)! All please pray delivery goes smooth and we have a healthy and happy baby.
